ACI Announces Joint Development with LandSafe
of New Appraisal Delivery Solution

Rules-based technology brings speed, consistency and accuracy to appraisal processing

Palm Coast, FL, August 11, 2003—ACI, a leading appraisal technology provider in North America, announced today a joint development with LandSafe Appraisal Services, a division of LandSafe, Inc., to create an appraisal delivery solution that reduces costs and produces service efficiencies including speed, consistency and accuracy. LandSafe is one of the premier national appraisal companies and provider of information management services to the real estate lending industry.

Through this joint development, appraisers will transition away from cumbersome email-based report delivery to direct communication with LandSafe's AppraiserLink web site. This direct link combined with ACI's Review technology ensures that appraisers run the most current version of LandSafe's review checks prior to sending appraisal reports to LandSafe's servers for direct processing. At the same time, rules may be updated on-the-fly by LandSafe and applied transparently to reports. The centralized management of the review rules reduces exception handling and eliminates administrative difficulties for LandSafe and the appraiser. Ultimately, this process benefits the appraiser, LandSafe and the lender.
