ACI Maps AI Ready Forms for Real Estate Appraisal Services Inc.

REAS, Inc. in Cleveland improves appraisal efficiency with help from forms provider

Palm Coast, FL, February 27, 2004 -ACI, a leading provider of software applications for the mortgage industry, announced that it has worked with Real Estate Appraisal Services, Inc. (REAS) in Cleveland to map REAS's proprietary appraisal forms to the AI Ready standard. The newly mapped forms will speed appraisal turn times at REAS by allowing REAS to standardize all of its residential reports to an AI Ready format.

AI Ready is an accreditation given to software packages that comply with the Appraisal Institute's XML Data Standard for storage and transmission of appraisal property information. The standard was developed to enable cross-industry communication of appraisal data. Appraisers and institutions that use AI Ready software are able to access data from AI Ready files, regardless of the format or sender.

By mapping several REAS proprietary forms to the AI Ready standard, ACI has made it possible for REAS and its appraisers and clients to access the data within those forms without having to print and re-key the information.
