Lighthouse Supports Leading Appraisal Software

In 1998, Lighthouse was released by ACI and immediately gained industry-wide recognition and acceptance, where it is currently supported by seven major software companies in partnership, and accepted as the standard appraisal format by the industry's largest and most prominent lenders and management companies.

Lighthouse translates appraisal reports created with eight different appraisal software programs into the Lighthouse standard format. Once translated, the appraiser has the opportunity to proof the report and attach an electronic signature before sending via the preferred delivery method. The standard appraisal file is a comprehensive package including the report, addendum, sketch, limiting conditions, photos, maps, and electronic signature.

In addition to the Lighthouse translator are client specific forms, review rules, and/or custom EDI technology that can be purchased separately. Lenders can view and print Lighthouse compatible files simply by downloading the FREE Lighthouse Reader. The Lighthouse Reader is a FREE, universal appraisal viewer providing lenders, mortgage brokers, and appraisal companies with view and print technology for appraisals delivered in the Lighthouse standard format.
